Dragon’s Tail Nine

A showcase round for the top nine players in Pro Open

***IF the DT9 can not be started before 6:30PM, it will be cancelled***

The Dragon’s Tail Nine, once a bonus round for the top players on the day regardless of division, is now a part of the DDGC tournament itself. At minimum, the top nine players in the Pro Open division will move on to the nine-hole bonus round, which will count toward their cumulative final score.

All Pro Open players who make it to and complete the DT9 are assured cashing spots. That’s right, payout in Pro Open goes to every person who finishes the DT9.

DT9 Tiebreaker Rules:
In the event of a tie for the final qualifier position(s) for the DT9, all tied players will begin the round, but some will be eliminated in sudden death fashion until there are only the maximum number of players remain. For example, if two players are tied for 9th, both will begin the round on hole 1. If player A records a 4 while player B records a 5, player B is eliminated and his round is over. Player A continues the round.
